SunVitalize: Vitiligo Care Initiative (SVVCI)

Beyond Support Foundation pledges to offer support to Vitiligos and those who are teenage mothers in Kenya in terms of health care, education, and handcrafting skills. Starting with sun creams for the vitiligos. However, Beyond Support Foundation acknowledges that more help is needed, and calls on individuals, organizations, companies, and international bodies to join the effort and support the cause through partnerships, scholarships, technical kills equipment, donations, or any other kind of support.

BSF calls upon the government for special privileges for vitiligos, subsidies on the cost of sun creams because they are currently expensive, and introduce policies that favor them in terms of education, employment internationally, private and public offices, and support them with other necessary requirements.

Remarks from BSF Team leader.

I give a vote of thanks for the incredible done by the Beyond Support Foundation team that sacrificed to be part of the occasion. I also thank the vitiligo group for sharing their story which will create an impact in the lives of other people and encouraged them.

I know that having vitiligo can be difficult. You may feel self-conscious about your appearance, and you may worry about what others think of you. But I want to encourage you to not let vitiligo hold you back. You are more than your skin condition. You are talented, you are skilled, and you can achieve anything you set your mind to.

Here are a few words of encouragement to help you on your journey:

• Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do something because of your vitiligo. There are many successful people with vitiligo, including actors, athletes, and entrepreneurs. Don’t let your skin condition define you.
• Focus on your strengths. Everyone has something they’re good at. What are you passionate about? What are you good at? Focus on your strengths and use them to achieve your goals.
• Don’t be afraid to ask for help. If you’re struggling with vitiligo, there are people who can help you. Talk to your doctor, a therapist, or a support group. There is no shame in asking for help.
• Remember that you’re not alone. There are millions of people around the world with vitiligo. You’re not alone in this. There are people who understand what you’re going through, and there are people who will support you.

I believe in you. You can do anything you set your mind to. Don’t let vitiligo hold you back. Go out there and achieve your dreams!
